With a world on fire and fast-emerging regions and powers facing unprecedented security challenges, nobody disputes that a great deal is at stake for the world and for the United Nations. Challenging problems arise and with it the question how to address the most pressing issues.
Think – Create innovative ideas to transform the international system on global peace and security. The winners will present their ideas at the student conference and a conference for policy-makers. The essays will also be published in the Amsterdam Law Forum.
Engage – We invite you to attend a student conference endorsed by Clingendael, Igarapé and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs to develop creative ideas about UN Security Council reform.
Be heard – Present your ideas and discuss them with policy makers and fellow students at the conference. The outcome of this conference will inform discussions at a high-level Dutch-Brazilian Symposium.
